Pre-stressed Steel Bars
Pre-stressed steel bars actually refer to steel bars used for pre-stressed concrete. They are also called as pile steel wires or P.C. steel bars. They are mainly used as the reinforcing wires of pre-stressed high-strength concrete (PHC) piles. P.C. steel bars were developed successfully in 1964 by Japan’s Nihon Koshuha Co., Ltd. At first people called them as UL Bond for their supper bonding force. In China, we transliterated their name as “Wu Long Bang”.
PHC Pile Steel Bars

The steel bars produced by our company for pre-stressed concrete are characteristic of high-strength, low-relaxation, weldability and platability and they are widely used for PHC piles as their ideal main reinforcing materials. The steel bar is one of our main products. Our annual productivity of steel bars is 20,000 tons, covering products with various specifications (F7.1—F12.6). The product strength is able to exceed 1420 MPa and the relaxation performance can reach the 2nd grade. Our products meets all requirements in YB/T 111-1997, “Steel Bars for Pre-stressed Concrete” promulgated by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry.

Application: Used for pipe pile steel wires for high-rising building foundation concrete, bridge pier concrete and port concrete and also used for the beams of fly-over bridges.
